Festivals

My parents have always been into summer festivals. I usually will agree to tag along because I've forgotten over the course of a winter just how dull they really are. What is the draw? Lots of old seniors selling crafts like woven folding chairs and dog accessories? The singers that make the early audtions of American Idol look good? The overpriced food? What is it?

But then I take a bite of that slow-roasted marinated turkey leg and suddenly the crowded path becomes a field of daisies. A few cinnamon cashews later and I'm realizing I've been at strawberry fest for over an hour.

Kind of reminds me of TMI...there's something in that koolaid that keep you coming back...You have a certain amnesia that lets you think "that wasn't so bad".

Good times...back to origins, insertions, actions, and nerve supplies of muscles.
