Babies at the clinic for check-ups. Aren't they the CUTEST!
The fire was a big neighborhood event. The bright lights in the back left are from the popcorn/pork rinds vender. Hey, you gotta make the most of a crowd.
A member of teh birth crew with the fire extinguisher after it was all over. Midwives do it all!
Our guys on the roof helping out with equipment.

A "nicer" section
These are the tricycles...yes, we have had to do an emergency birth in one of these when someone didn't make it to the center in time. (and more than once!)
Visiting patients
Shopping at the downtown market
I think the shirt says it all...just some friends checking on a new baby
Going through the trash in the river...often they are looking for recyclable stuff that can be redeemed.
Just a little tribute to one of my fav movies....I wore black socks with sandles too. Afterward we realized Corin could have joined us with his curly blonde hair.
Another little friend...my former continuity's son with a tennis ball...he's so cute
One of our visitors brought us hair ties, so we passed them out and did the little girls' hair
Visiting one of my patients I cared for last year. These are some of their neighbor kids. The alley way you see there houses 4 families
"If God had suddenly shown us everything He was going to do in the years to come, I would have said, 'Wait a minute, You've got the wrong man!...' But God inched up the curtain just a little bit at a time and said, 'Take a look and take a step'." - Clarence W. Jones
