One of two birth beds. Notice the grab bar above the bed. Traditionally the village women go outside in the forest alone to deliver. They grab onto a tree branch and squat/hang. The bar can be lowered to the height of the woman...fabulous!
Above the windows they have portraits of families and moms with babies
Shelly and an apprentice practice a skit in the sala of the birth center. It has a full kitchen, waiting area, stove, and bathroom.
