Bittersweet Memories
I found this photo of Criss and one of "her babies" in her former tribal house on her blog...it captures what I loved about the work we did, yet reminds me of the most painful year of my life (2nd year in Asia).
As Ruth Stull once said, "If my life is broken when given to Jesus it is because pieces will feed a multitude, while a loaf will satisfy only a little lad"
"If God had suddenly shown us everything He was going to do in the years to come, I would have said, 'Wait a minute, You've got the wrong man!...' But God inched up the curtain just a little bit at a time and said, 'Take a look and take a step'." - Clarence W. Jones
